On Day 13 of my 13 Days of Halloween, I’m sharing some fang-tastic Halloween vampire decor. It’s a cozy lair that’s creepy and elegant at the same time, so grab some garlic and come take a peek at this Transylvania Transformation.
In the foyer, the Count bids you welcome. Don’t be afraid of his booming voice and piercing eyes. His bark is much worse than his bite.
On the sideboard, there’s a black cat perched atop a pumpkin. Since vampires don’t like the sun, the harlequin candles produce a soft glow.
Here’s a closeup of the illuminated cat with his red mouth.
As night falls, the sitting room is an inviting place to converse. The tombstones along the windows remind us we are back among the living.
Here’s another view of the sitting room from a different angle.
Nice fluffy black pillows make the couches super comfy for guests. Can you imagine Elvira, Mistress of the Dark lounging here?
A bare tree dripping in blood and infested with vampire bats sits atop the sofa table. A crow perched on top acts as sentry. Be mindful of the snake!
The mantle is draped in creepy flocked black garland and red tinsel veins. Vampires just love blood red accents. You can learn more about the mantle here.
Opposite the mantel is the wet bar. Can I interest you in some O+ or Blood Light to drink?
A vulture is waiting to see what remains.
Looks like the count and his girl necks door were drinking some Bad Blood and playing Ouija. He’s such a sucker, always love at first bite.
Ah, more guests have arrived.
Let me introduce you to Vincent the Vampire and Sinister Serena. Vincent works at the Vampire State Building. Let’s hope he’s in a good Halloween mood; he’s known to be a real pain in the neck if he doesn’t get a Bloody Mary before dinner.
Moving into the dining room, the table has been set with the centerpieces and a red tablecloth. Blood stains are not a problem in this manor.
Mr. Skelly Vampire awaits you…he’s so glad there’s new blood here… and you’re just his type.
Mr. Skelly loves coming to the south for some regional redneck cuisine. The meals are so reasonable, he eats for necks to nothing.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the Transylvania Transformation and sadly this concludes my 13 Days of Halloween series for this year. Fang-you very much for your participation. Until next year, Happy Hauntings to you and yours.
Twilight, again. Another ending. No matter how perfect the day is, it always has to end.
Edward Cullen – Twilight
This is totally amazing!! I hope you have some grands that LOVE this!!! Your writing is perfect too. Next year, please show us a close up of the mantle. I loved everything!!!
Pinky, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment and compliment. No grandkids yet, just a Halloween fanatic! I wrote a separate post with closeups of the mantle entitled “Munster Your Mantle”. Check it out!
