We celebrated the 4th of July at a party hosted by our neighbors, Gary & Karen. Karen’s Jack Russell Terrier, Oakley, served as greeter. He’s incredibly good-natured and puts a smile on everyone’s face.
Karen’s attention to detail never disappoints. This year she hosted a hot dog bar with a selection of toppings. She used graphics from Hostess with the Mostess’ Patriotic Country Fair collection which are available for order here.
Here’s a couple of photos of Karen’s beverage station that also features more of the Patriotic Country Fair printables.
Some closeups of the graphics.
Karen and Sydney dressed appropriately for the occasion. Love Karen’s star top and Sydney’s cute skirt and top combo. Sydney even donned a facial flag tattoo!
Gary and Karen have a lovely home and their patio served as the setting for the soiree. Karen’s signature color is turquoise and she incorporates it beautifully in her outdoor spaces. Here’s a couple of photos of the lower patio taken from the upper level. There is enough space for dining and lounging and the stone wall adds just the right amount of privacy.
Here’s a close up of the focal point, the water fall and fire feature. Even though it’s not turned on, there’s a fire pit under the turquoise sea glass that provides ambiance after dark. The flames dancing around the water fall provide a spectacular visual and are mesmerizing. Don’t you love the blue color of the fire glass?
Did I mention the patio also features an elongated bar with TV and grill space? This is where the guys typically congregate. That’s Gary, master of the house, behind the bar in the light blue shirt.
The upper level has enough space for another dining table and features this beautiful stacked stone fireplace flanked by comfortable seating. Karen also has another table in this space.
Here’s an example of the flower groupings that Karen has scattered about. She really has a nack for picking great color combinations to complement her turquoise accessories. Do you see the herb garden in the galvanized container?
And lastly, here’s a collection of photos of friends having a good time with a special thanks to Gary and Karen.
Wishing everyone a celebratory 4th!
