Goldman Kolber’s interchangeable Caerleon Collection is so versatile and I’m in love with the idea of a “forever” piece that works for any occasion. Pieces within the collection include rings, bracelets, pendants/necklaces and earrings containing an interchangeable center stone or “bezel” providing an almost limitless variety to suit your mood or outfit! The photo is of my personal “box set” with a Callisto setting sporting a black onyx bezel. The interchangeable bezels provide a whole new look – for a fraction of the price of a new ring!
The Caerleon Collection offers many different designs available in combinations including sterling silver, 14K gold and diamonds. Shown below are two of my favorites. The Juno features an oval bezel and the Callisto a square bezel. If you compare the photo of the Callisto in my box set with GK’s stock photo, you can see that although they both support a square bezel, mine is a princess cut as compared to a cushion cut in the photo below. Isn’t it interesting how much difference the cut of the stone makes in the overall appearance of the ring?

You can change the look of the ring by simply lifting up on the “wings” and removing the bezel. To replace, simply put a new bezel in the center and press the “wings” back into place. You can see how easy it is by watching the video below.
Goldman Kolber bezels are available as precious stones (diamond, ruby, sapphire, emerald); birthstones; semi-precious; and other stones such as onyx and lapis. They even have multi-colored stones if you want to sport your team colors (a.k.a. gameday bling).
As designers and manufacturers of outstanding quality jewelry with ninety-five years of continuous ownership, the Goldman and Steinhauer families have a rich history and jewelry legacy. After seven decades in the heart of the Jewelry District of New York City, the company now resides in a suburb of Boston, (Norwood) Massachusetts. Yay. . . American-made! In addition to the Carleon Collection, Goldman Kolber also offers a Couture Collection, a non-interchangeable designer series for those wanting a larger, more bold piece of fine jewelry; and the Shift Collection, a smaller, youth-styled, interchangeable line for introduction into the world of fine jewelry.
And if you’re wondering about the name, Caerleon is derived from an early first century Roman fortress city. The Romans ruled from this “City of the Legion” for over three-hundred years and during their reign they built an extensive series of Baths serving the Roman elite. During excavation nearly two-thousand years later, a treasure of carved gemstones was discovered and named the Gemstones of Caerleon.
Just an FYI that I am not compensated by Goldman Kolber for this post. I only want to share their products because I’m a huge fan, not to mention they also offer excellent customer service. You can browse and order items directly from Goldman Kolber (www.gkjewelry.com) or find the nearest dealer by visiting the “store locator” tab at the top of their home page.
I hope you enjoy the opportunity to learn more and appreciate this unique line of jewelry!
Do you have a booklet of various bezels for the Goldman-Kolber Co?
I’m looking for a bezel with a Prasiolite stone
Thank you
You can find all of Goldman Koblers bezels at this web address: http://gkjewelry.com/bezelmenu/?___store=caerleon_en
Since Prasiolite is actually an amethyst that has been heated, search for the term “green amethyst” and you will find their selection of Prasiolite bezels.
Birthstones are also said to have great healing power. Besides that, the most beautiful gemstones can be found among the birthstones.
